BIS are small chocolate wafer bars, very popular in Brazil. The packaging shown here contains 20 individually wrapped bis bars. It consists of four wafer layers with layers of chocolate between them. Each individual, bite-sized bar is also covered in white chocolate.

The word means "until" "encore" or "repeat" - the name is very appropriate here!
