The Chimarrão is a mate tea drunk mainly by gauchos in southern Brazil. The special feature is that the mate tea is filled in a single cuia (calabash) and this one in the group one after another through a straw (bombilla) is drunk. In Argentina and Uruguay, the same drink is called Yerba Mate and is drunk from a smaller container.
