Guaraná Jesus is a Brazilian soft drink from the Coca-Cola Company, which is produced in the state of Maranhão and is so popular that it sells better than Coca-Cola itself.
The drink owes its name (as with Coca-Cola!) To a pharmacist: Jesus Norberto Gomes, who invented the drink in 1920. Guaraná Jesus has a fancy pink color and it smells of cinnamon and cloves.
